GPA Midstream’s TEC is composed of a small number of appointed vice president or director level engineers from member companies. This group provides technical guidance and leadership to GPA Midstream.

Key tasks for TEC include:

  • Coordinating with staff on long-term strategy for GPA Midstream technical efforts
  • Focusing five technical groups on relevant issues
  • Providing counsel to staff on significant technical issues and their impacts on midstream companies
  • Providing long term strategy for technical sections
  • Recommending non-traditional research
  • Screening issues to be brought to the Executive Committee and Board
  • Coordinating with the Advocacy Advisory Group to support advocacy efforts
