About the GPA Midstream/GPSA Political Action Committee
The GPA Midstream/GPSA Association PAC is the political action committee of GPA Midstream Association and GPSA Association. The PAC’s funds are used to make contributions to candidates for federal office who support the midstream industry’s ability to continue to deliver affordable, reliable, safe, secure, and cleaner energy. Information about candidates the PAC supports is contained in the PAC’s activity reports, which are available on the Federal Election Commission’s website.
The GPA Midstream/GPSA Association PAC is established under and operated in accordance with federal law. Federal law prohibits the PAC from soliciting donations from persons outside its “restricted class.” The PAC’s restricted class includes:
- the executive and administrative personnel of the GPA Midstream Association/GPSA Association,
- non-corporate members of the GPA Midstream Association/GPSA Association,
- the executive/administrative personnel and shareholders of the corporate members of the GPSA Midstream Association/GPSA Association (with prior approval from the member corporation), and
- the family members of these individuals.
Donations the PAC receives from any other person will be returned to the donor.
