Sharing Your Experience

Sharing your experience and expertise at the GPA Midstream Convention provides quality exposure for you and your company while creating an unprecedented learning opportunity for attendees. Applications for speaking opportunities for the 2026 Convention are now open. The deadline for submissions is March 27, 2026. Speaker selections are made by the midstream professionals who comprise relevant GPA Midstream committees. Speakers chosen receive notification, including the date and time of the speaking engagement by mid-June.

What we’re looking for:

Midstream topics that are relevant, timely and informative. During the submission process, you are required to choose one of the following topics listed below. If your topic doesn’t fit one of the provided categories, select “Other” to be considered:

  • Environmental

  • Facilities design

  • Gas and product treating

  • Legislative, regulatory & safety

  • Liquefied natural gas

  • Market fundamentals & commercial trends

  • MLP & private equity overview

  • Regulatory solutions

If selected:

  • You agree to obtain any permissions or clearance required for the content of your presentation at the conference by your employer.

  • You agree to ensure that your presentation has an educational focus and is a sales-free zone.  We offer sponsorship opportunities for individuals interested in promoting a company and/or service.

  • You agree to speak to conference attendees in person in San Antonio on one of the days of the convention. We cannot accommodate requests for specific days.

  • You agree to meet the following deadlines:

  • Confirmation of acceptance to participate within seven business days of the confirmation email going out.

  • Registration for the convention no later than July 30.

  • Submission of final slides no later than Sept. 4.

Failure to participate in these events and to submit presentations according to the dates outlined in your confirmation may result in being removed from the program/agenda.

How to be considered:

  • All abstracts sent to GPA Midstream by March 27 will be considered for presentation at the 2026 GPA Midstream Convention.

  • The person who intends to present at the GPA Midstream Convention should submit the abstract. Co-presenters and co-authors may be added when the abstract is submitted.

  • The person submitting the abstract will be able to access and edit the submission through the March 27 call for papers deadline.
