GPA Midstream’s TEC is composed of a small number of appointed vice president or director level engineers from member companies. This group provides technical guidance and leadership to GPA Midstream.

Typical Member

Technical Executive Committee positions are appointed. Committee member backgrounds range from plant operations and process design engineers to specialists with experience directing thermophysical property research.

Key tasks for TEC include:

  • Coordinating with staff on long-term strategy for GPA Midstream technical efforts
  • Focusing five technical groups on relevant issues
  • Providing counsel to staff on significant technical issues and their impacts on midstream companies
  • Providing long term strategy for technical sections
  • Recommending non-traditional research
  • Screening issues to be brought to the Executive Committee and Board
  • Coordinating with the Advocacy Advisory Group to support advocacy efforts
