Introduction to Midstream
Using the GPSA Engineering Data Book as a reference, this course is designed for new employees or those who want to gain general knowledge about the activities and scope of midstream operations. Learn midstream industry basics and what happens at midstream operating facilities — why we process gas, the roles of a gas plant, common plant processes, midstream products, equipment typically found at facilities, and the processes that turn natural gas liquids into valuable products. Students will participate in interactive lectures, perform light calculations, and work in teams to design their own gas processing facility.
