The Environmental Excellence Award recognizes GPA Midstream and GPSA member companies that demonstrate outstanding initiative, leadership, and innovation in environmental stewardship. This award highlights projects and practices that meaningfully improve environmental performance and advance sustainability across midstream operations.
Companies must apply for this project-based award by the specified deadline each year. The 2026 deadline for applications is June 5, 2026. Winners are announced in July of each year, and award recipients will be recognized and have an opportunity to present their projects at the GPA Midstream Convention in September.
GPA Midstream members have awards in two categories:
- GPA Midstream member companies classified as O1 and O2 compete for the Division 1 award.
- All other GPA Midstream companies, including international companies and businesses that have GPA Midstream Associate memberships compete for the Division II award.
GPSA member companies compete for a single GPSA award.
