Training: Current Challenges in Midstream Facility Operations

An intensive, 4-hour training session for professionals in midstream facilities. Featuring a dedicated Q&A, the course explores today’s most critical design and operational challenges, leveraging real-world case studies and project insights from diverse processing environments. Participants examine technical and commercial hurdles — including flow assurance, corrosion, foaming, fouling, contamination, throughput limitations, and maintenance. Through practical examples from recent midstream projects, the course identifies key issues and solutions, offering actionable strategies for risk mitigation, cost control, and performance optimization. This training equips engineers, operators, project managers, and technical decision-makers, equips professionals with tools to enhance operational reliability and efficiency in an evolving midstream landscape.

Training: Sour Gas and Sulphur Symposium presented by Trimeric Corporation

This 4-hour training session is for professionals who manage natural gas that contains H2S and/or CO2 — “sour gas.” The session has been developed over many years by world-class experts in gas treating and sulphur processes and brings together industry leaders from highly regarded gas treating equipment and chemical suppliers and engineering companies to cover essential topics in gas treating and associated processes. Participants will be led through a summary of gas treating technology options, from small- to large-scale treating based on H2S quantities in the gas. The expert panel will then follow with a deep-dive into amine treating, Claus sulphur recovery, Claus tail gas treating, and molten sulphur handling. The content is consistent with the historical objectives of the Symposium — review core technical principles of the processes and unit operations to provide industry professionals with a sound basis for their work with gas treating and sulphur handling.
