Hart Energy Senior Editor, Midstream and Natural Gas Sandy Segrist talked with GPA Midstream Vice President, Federal Affairs Stuart Saulters about Trump administration efforts to overhaul federal regulations affecting the U.S. pipeline network that carries oil, gas, and NGLs.
The Trump administration has pledged to continue making major reforms to all federal regulations that concern laying and maintaining the pipeline network that carries oil, gas and NGL.
“With the government shutdown last fall, a lot of this stuff got hung up, and so now I expect to see some things come out in rapid succession,” Saulters said in an interview with Hart Energy, though he cautioned that it’s difficult to predict a timeline of pending government legislation.
